I took
some photos of the moon this morning,
inspired by
Murtz. The idea was to test how well I could resolve the lunar features with a 5 MP camera, the answer I think is "pretty well". I'm also using these photos to test out the online Flickr service, which offers some very interesting ways of integrating photos onto my blog.

Most of the moon shots looked pretty good, the maximum zoom one was obviously fuzzy but the rest were fine. I just began checking out flickr myself last night, I really love that it lets me store photos on their site and access them for my blog. A small example, updating an old post: "Brood X."
I'm actually dropping by to learn the name of your digital camera from your post a while back, presuming you're still happy with it. I may be acquiring a new one for an upcoming trip and possibly posting some photos with it.
I just can't find your post about the camera you decided to buy -- searching on "camera" or "pixel" doesn't seem to do the trick. Can you help?
You know, I am trying to learn my new camera as well. I tried to take shots of the full moon at night, and tried the night settings. No go. Oh well. Live and learn.
Found it -- once I saw it was identified on the flickr page (blush).
