Most of us Muslims, Christians, Jews, humanity in general are unaware of the complexities that developed between Europe, France, the Mamluks and the Ottomans.
It is a very important piece of history that shaped much of what we understand concerning modern Spanish authority and also but more particularly the history of Egypt.
